The Old Mill Gallery was opened in 1997 by Adele Millar to showcase her own work and the work of other artists and crafters from around the North-East of Scotland.

Of her own work, Adele says:

"My inspiration comes from many aspects of our world‚ natural and man-made.Working in various media; pencil‚ ink‚ watercolour‚ pastel‚ oils‚ clay‚ wood and stained glass‚ in styles ranging from realistic to surreal and abstract‚ I hope to instil a keen appreciation of the beauty of our surroundings and a pledge to correct past mistakes for our future benefit."
